Privacy

This page explains how information is used when you browse Engraving machine, search for a guide or follow an external link.

Browsing and hosting

You can read the site without creating an account. The site does not provide a checkout or collect payment details. Hosting and network providers, including Cloudflare when used to serve the site, process connection information such as IP addresses, request URLs and browser details to deliver pages and operate their security services. Their own privacy policies govern their processing and retention.

Site search

The guide search runs in your browser against a downloaded search index. The search feature does not submit your search text to a separate search service. Search text may appear in the page address and your browser history; sharing that address also shares the search text.

Shopping region preferences

The site may request a country code from its hosting service to suggest an appropriate shopping region. The country endpoint does not itself write IP addresses to an application database. The hosting provider may still process network information. Your manual shopping-region choice can be stored in your browser so it remains selected on later visits. You can clear this preference through your browser’s site-data settings.

Images, videos and external websites

Some media may load from external providers. Loading those resources allows the provider to receive connection information. Product and video links open third-party services, which may use cookies, account information or other identifiers under their own policies. A shopping link can contain referral identifiers used by the destination to attribute visits or purchases.

Messages you choose to send

If you contact us using a published email address, the information you send is used to handle your request and any necessary follow-up. Avoid sending payment details, passwords or other sensitive information. Email providers also process messages under their own policies.

Your browser controls

You can remove stored site preferences, restrict third-party resources or leave the site using your browser controls. Blocking resources may affect images or region recommendations. Purchase, account and privacy requests concerning a retailer or video platform should be directed to that service.

Changes to this page

This policy may change when site features or service providers change. The version displayed here describes the site’s current published privacy information.
